Growing up I played the piano, and routinely took lessons for close to 13 years. I always loved music, but never thought I would pick up the guitar and start a band while I attended St. John's University in New York City. It was only then that I really started to develop a strong interest in music. My first band, Sheng Sway, was what got me hooked on music and the creative process. Although we wrote over a dozen songs, we only recorded a single demo. This music can be found on my soundcloud page. Music however is in my blood as I come from a long line of musicians, both classically trained and self-taught.
